| Description | Hello OpenFOAM team, My name is George Lees Jr. and I am an intern at the Blue Waters/NCSA supercomputing facility on the University of Illinois campus. I am trying to start a movement to get OpenFOAM onto the Blue Waters computer Cray CLE environment. I have asked around and found a couple of other people who have also tried to install without success and who would love to be able to use this tool on Blue Waters. I have very little experience building in a Linux environment and have tried to have other people with experience accomplish this task. We are wondering if there is a standard build for the Cray-XE6?? If not if you could assist me with the installation i believe it would benefit the OpenFOAM company as all of the allocations on BW is for the scientific community. Thank you, George Lees Jr. P.s. @bluerubez: A few questions: 1. Has this issue been resolved? 2. If not, which compiler is being used? 3. Which GCC compiler is available in your systems? 4. Have you contacted SGI regarding this? - I'm only guessing here, but they might have more details on this exact issue, since they should have easier access to such hardware. 5. If this issue has not yet been solved, is it possible to access the supercomputer remotely, in order to do some testing, trial and error on this? |
