Summary | 0000725: compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam: New algorithm MULES for alpha1 crashed on wall-refined mesh in fluidisedBed tutorial
Description | The new algorithm for solution of alpha1 in compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam crashes on a wall-refined mesh in tutorial fluidisedBed. Motiation: Interested in studying fluidised bed on a finer grid near walls
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Copy tutorial fluidisedBed to local cp $FOAM_TUTORIALS/multiphase/compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam/fluidisedBed/ . 2) blockMesh 2) refine the walls using refineWallLayer three times (Aspect Ratio of 8.0) refineWallLayer walls 0.5 -overwrite refineWallLayer walls 0.5 -overwrite refineWallLayer walls 0.5 -overwrite checkMesh | grep "aspect" 3) Initialise alpha1 field cp 0/alpha1.org 0/alpha1 setFields 4) Run compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam; it fails approx. at time 0.13
