@userFoam123: A few requests: 1. Any chance you can test this in OpenFOAM 2.3.x? 2. Provide a test case for OpenFOAM 2.3.x? 3. Detail the steps for creating those images? I ask this because I haven't figure out how to replicate the images you've provided, not even by using OpenFOAM 2.0.1. If I was able to replicate the same results with OpenFOAM 2.0.0 or 2.0.1, I wanted to check if this problem also occurs when writing into binary format, which has been a solution for many particle related problems in recent bug reports. |

There have been a lot of bug fixes and changes to the Lagrangian particle tracking algorithms and the spray classes during the last 2 years. To investigate this problem any further only makes sense with the latest git version of 2.3.x (as of January 2015).
