| Description | snappyHexMesh crashes because there is a symbol lookup error: -- snappyHexMesh: symbol lookup error: /opt/OpenFOAM-scotch-6.0.0/lib/libptscotch.so: undefined symbol: _SCOTCHorderSaveMap -- blockMesh and OPENFOAM work fine. How can I solve This? | ||||

The packs for fedora 18/19 have been corrected and updated. Fedora 17 is now EOL so you should upgrade to 18/19. |

Greetings, I was going to test the RPMs for Fedora 19 to see if this bug report and the duplicate one could be closed. But I hit the same issue that has been reported lately for openSUSE: http://www.openfoam.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=1057 The only file that seems to fail the test: rpm2cpio OpenFOAM-2.2.2-1.x86_64.rpm | cpio -t Is this one: http://www.openfoam.org/download/fedora/19/x86_64/OpenFOAM-2.2.2-1.x86_64.rpm I installed the one meant for Fedora 18 and snappyHexMesh did not give any problems.
