Summary | 0000926: openfoam220 package is removed from the repository as openfoam221 is issued
Description | I install my own software that uses Openfoam, and I have to install openfoam with it. So my installer adds the openfoam repository to apt sources list and then installs my deb package that depends on openfoam220 (the version my software has been tested with). But now as openfoam 2.2.1 is issued, the openfoam220 package is absent in openfoam repository, and my program refuses to install due to that unsatisfied dependency. Generally speaking, keeping the older versions in the repository of packages is a good practice, especially taking into account that it is not a new version of a package, but a new package (openfoam220 is replaced by openfoam221). It definitely can not harm while removing older versions can. Is it possible not to do so in future?
